Astigmatism Laser and Treatments

A surgery to correct astigmatism in Milan with the latest innovations. The new femtoLASIK to cure astigmatism. High Tech Intraocular lenses to cure astigmatism. Surgery to treat high degree astigmatism with phakic lenses (intraocular lenses) in Milan and Catalia. To sum up, correcting astigmatism is possible thanks to several different surgeries.

The most widespread astigmatism surgery is performed with the excimer Laser, that can correct both astigmatism and myopia. There is a new kind of surgery that uses Femto Laser and improves the effect of the Excimer Laser, or removes a thin corneal layer with great results.

Astigmatism laser surgery with the excimer laser is based on two techniques: LASIK and PRK. Today there are also variations of these two techniques for eye laser surgery.

The main surgery for high degree astigmatism is the implant of an intraocular lens or phakic lens inside the eye.

The latest news to correct astigmatism are the High Tech intraocular lenses, that represent a key solution for patients that have already undergone laser surgery and now have cataract.

Another surgery for high degree astigmatism and myopia is che lens substitution with a technique called Phakorefractive.

Votazione: Eccellente
Problem: Cataract, Myopia
High myopia (17 diopters in both eyes) with cataract represented for me a considerable handicap: blepharitis and dry eye do not allow the use of contact lenses and with glasses I could barely see at intermediate distance... Keep on reading this review.

All the ophthalmologists I went to suggested to postpone cataract surgery, considering the precarious conditions of the retina.

I trusted Dr. Badalà (I read good things on the Internet about his innovative surgeries) who, after all the necessary tests, reassured me about the feasibility of the operation.

On 22 and 23 January, 2015 in Milan, in a welcoming atmosphere with state of the art equipment, Dr. Badala' performed cataract surgery in both eyes, with implantation of monofocal aspheric IOL, under topical anesthesia.

I am pleased with an excellent result in both eyes, thanks to Dr. Badalà expertise!
