FemtoLASIK for Hypermetropia

It’s the most performed laser surgery for hypermetropia in the USA. This surgery can be considered an evolution of the widely known LASIK.

It uses a specific instrument called Femto Laser to precisely cut a this circular layer (or flap) from the corneal surface. This layer is flipped and placed on the side.

Once the inner cornea portion is exposed, it’s time for the excimer laser ray to remodel it, just like in traditional LASIK, correcting hypermetropia and even astigmatism (if necessary).

Dr. Badalà performs this eye laser surgeries for hypermetropia in Milan, Rome and Catania since this technology became available in 2008.
