Review Intervention with EyeMax intraocular lens

I have had a maculopathy for many years and they had always told me that there was nothing that could be done, also because I have already lost one eye and I couldn't see much out of the other. Now three months after cataract surgery with an EyeMax lens implant in my left eye, I have gone from 6/10 to 9/10. My ophthalmologist had said that there was nothing that could be done and that perhaps I could have some advantages with stem cells but in the future. Since I am 72 years old, in short, for me the future is getting smaller and one day while looking on the internet I saw a phrase that I really liked: "Hope for people with maculopathy speaks Sicilian". Then I saw that you were in Milan, it's an hour's train ride from Turin to Milan and I came. I came to you Dr. Badalà as a last resort. When she told me it could be done, I have to say I said: “Yes, let's try!” When I had this surgery done, that same evening in the hotel I tried to peek a little if I could see… and I saw! Now, three months after surgery, I do crosswords! I no longer read the newspaper, I looked at the computer only because I put the big words but now I do crosswords! I started reading a good book again… so my life has changed and my quality of life has improved , especially considering that this is the only eye I have. I am very grateful to Dr. Badalà and his entire team because, above all, you are not just doctors, you are human; and for us who see each other little, humanity is important. Thank you Doctor.
