Anterior Lamellar Corneal Transplant DALK and Keratoconus: Update on what’s new!

DALK (Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty) Corneal Transplant: at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting in Las Vegas will be presented all the latest innovations for keratoconus and corneal scars treatment with this innovative technique.

Doctor Badalà teaches a course on Anterior Lamellar Corneal Transplant or DALK techniques, with international experts on keratoconus and corneal scars treatment.

The main purpose of the course is teach colleagues the different aspects of this innovative technique of corneal transplant, in order to make this mini invasive corneal transplant more suitable for all.

The panelists will provide theoretical and practical information to the attendees during the initial lecture.

Follows a practical session where surgeons, using eyes not suitable  for human transplant, can practice DALK the new technique of corneal transplant.
