Refractive Phacoemulsification for Presbyopia

Refractive Phacoemulsification surgery can be used to correct serious presbyopia problems through the implant of an intraocular multifocal or bifocal lens, for patients that are more than 45 years old.
In this case, the natural lens, even if transparent, is substituted with an intraocular lens (artificial lens).
If last generation lenses are used, it can also be possible to correct presbyopia together with myopia. The cost of this surgery may vary depending on the lens implanted.
