This lens, which is suitable for people suffering from dry or wet macular degeneration, enlarges images and project them to the entire peripheral macula, improving vision.<\/p>\n<p>People suffering from macular degeneration often have damaged the very central part of the macula with a relative healthy peripheral macula. The <strong>EyeMax IOL, <\/strong>\u00a0moving images from the central damaged part of the macula to the healthy peripheral macula, can restore a good quality of vision.<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microchirurgiaoculare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/EyeMax-.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9718\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9718\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microchirurgiaoculare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/EyeMax--300x201.jpg\" alt=\"EyeMax\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.microchirurgiaoculare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/EyeMax--300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.microchirurgiaoculare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/EyeMax--360x240.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.microchirurgiaoculare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/EyeMax-.jpg 631w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During <strong>Euretina meeting in Copenhagen<\/strong>, from the 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0 to the 11<sup>th<\/sup> September 2016, and<strong> the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) meeting<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>Dr Badal\u00e0 will present the results of this new technique for the treatment of macular degeneration.
