DMEK: a New Frontier in Corneal Transplant

DMEK (Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty) – Corneal Endothelium Transplant: all the latest innovations will be presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting in Las Vegas. Worldwide experts will discuss their experience on DMEK.

Dr. Badalà has been invited to share his experience on DMEK in complex cases.

DMEK is the latest achievement in corneal transplant surgery, it has less rejection rate than any other corneal transplant and an extremely fast visual recovery. DMEK is indicated for Corneal Edema, Cornea Guttata, Fuchs’ Distrophy and Bullous Keratopathy.
